JOB SUMMARY

NMC’S Recruiters are responsible for providing full life cycle recruiting for assigned positions throughout Nebraska, Iowa, and the Dakotas. We lead proactive recruitment activities, consult hiring managers on best hiring practices, conduct personal interviews, and determine the suitability of applicants for employment. Our Recruiters lead community outreach events including college, high school, and middle school relations, military and diversity events, and will represent NMC and its affiliates through a variety of different community channels, boards, and advisory councils. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Recruiters manage all areas of recruitment process to include job postings (both internally and externally), advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, qualifying, negotiating and extending offers. Ensures all aspects of pre-employment checklist are met.
  • Seeks, develops and maintains relationships with recruiting sources, including military, high schools, colleges and universities, prospective candidates, headhunters, etc., in an effort to create a pipeline of highly competent and qualified professionals.
  • Strategizes with hiring managers to accomplish weekly business growth goals and to project current and future headcount needs. Will have the ability to leverage proactive recruiting methodologies to support these strategies.
  • Maintains applicant data in CRM and applicant tracking system providing timely updates to hiring managers to include weekly report of recruitment activities.
  • Organizes and participates in job fairs and other outreach recruitment activities as assigned.
  • Presents to audiences of 10-100 individuals on talent acquisition related content.
  • May perform other duties as required and assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years of progressive recruiting experience required.
  • Experience in a corporate recruitment or staffing/recruitment setting is preferred.
